100 Bird English Sporting
Greek Easter Saturday saw a large turnout for the Caravelle Cup with 25 Club Members, 6 Cypriot Guests and the 12 members of 3 RIFLES CT Squad. Many thanks to Steve Cohen and Rob Hirons for all their hard work on the Friday in setting up 10 challenging stands. Many shot the competition in two halves due to the heat. The results show that the second 50 targets were harder than the first! Roughly 32 to 23. Only one person scored higher on the second half than on the first WINNER - RUSSELL PAGE - 95 (Score of 43 + 32 + Handicap of 20). Also High Gun Scratch with 75 Second - Steve Cohen - 94 (score of 32 + 30 + 32 Handicap) Third - Andy Plant - 92 (score of 38 + 24 + 30 Handicap) Overall High Gun - Lefkious Mildiadous with 43 + 38 = 81 For the full results please click HERE |

25 Sportrap and 25 Skeet
The monthly competition for the Woolpack Trophy was attended by 17 members and was shot in warm and sunny conditions (at last). There were quite a few Members absent, mostly away travelling out of the country, otherwise there would have been in excess of 20 competing. Today’s Monthly Competition for the FP Heliservices Cup (3 x 20 Super Sporting) was set by Steve Cohen with the help of Rob Hirons; many thanks to both of them for their hardwork on Friday and this morning. The Competition attracted a field of 18 competitors and was a good test in not ideal conditions. Well done to Joy, great shooting. 25 DTL & 25 Sportline Handicap Competition
Our first monthly competition of 2018 was well attended with 19 Competitors compared with only 9 last January! Congratulations to our Overall Winner – Russell Page Will Wilson also scored 23 hits on DTL but had less First Barrel Kills, so missed out on the High Gun for DTL. WINNER - Russell Page - 51.5 (Score of 44 and a Handicap of 7.5). Also High Gun on DTL with a total score of 68 (counting 1st and 2nd barrel kills) Second - Mike Humphrey - 48.5 (Score of 36 plus 12.5 Handicap) Third - Jon Marsden - 48 (Score of 44 + 4 Handicap) High Gun Scratch - Equal Winners - Russell Page - 44 and Jon Marsden - 44 For the full results please click HERE |
